Your Go-to Source For  Perimenopause & Menopause Support

Welcome to Purity Health™, where we believe in living life to the fullest. Dr Purity Menopause Clinic, in association with Samy Medical Group, is dedicated to providing safe, evidence-based knowledge and information on perimenopause and menopause. We understand that there are numerous myths and misunderstandings surrounding menopause and Hormone Replacement Therapy (HRT). One common misconception is that estrogen causes breast cancer, which is entirely false.

Here's the truth:

  1. Extensive evidence supports that women who are within 10 years of their menopause or under the age of 60 need not worry about HRT. The benefits significantly outweigh the risks for these women.

  2. If you have been taking HRT since your perimenopause or within 10 years of your menopause, there is no reason to discontinue it at any age.

  3. Even if you have surpassed your menopause or are over 60, starting HRT under the guidance of a knowledgeable practitioner is a viable option.

At Dr Purity Carr Menopause Clinic, we are committed to providing accurate information and personalized care. We encourage you to reach out to us for more details at info@purity.health or connect with us on Facebook at Dr Purity Carr Menopause Clinic. Let us support you on your menopause journey and help you live life to the fullest.

Please note that a 24-hour notice is required for appointment cancellations. This timeframe allows us sufficient time to inform individuals on the cancellation list, particularly women awaiting appointments.

About Me

Welcome to Dr Purity Menopause Clinic. I'm Dr Purity Carr, a GP and Menopause Doctor. I am 48 yrs old and Perimenopausal.

My journey in medicine began after graduating from Manchester University with a Bachelor of Surgery and Medicine in 2012. As a housewife who immigrated from Kenya to the U.K. in 2000, I discovered my passion for medicine through books such as 'Think Big' and 'Gifted Hands' by Dr Benjamin Carson. In 2006, as a newly single mother, I faced the challenges of pursuing my medical education while raising my child, which instilled in me a deep sense of determination and resilience. These experiences shaped me and fueled my commitment to serving others through the field of medicine.

With a deep commitment to providing exceptional care, I pursued a career in the medical field and became a qualified GP in the United Kingdom in 2017. Throughout my professional journey, I served in various respected roles, including the NHS, Airforce, and Army, until 2019. Seeking new opportunities, I ventured to Australia in January 2020, working diligently in busy mixed billing medical centres in the Rockingham and Mandurah regions.

On July 4th, 2022, a significant milestone was achieved as Purity Health, in partnership with Samy Medical, opened its doors to serve our first menopause patient. Supported by the Samy Medical family and guided by the esteemed Prof Dr Martin Samy, it has been my pleasure and privilege to actively listen to women of all ages and deliver informative talks within our community.

My primary goal is to empower women with evidence-based information and provide compassionate care throughout the stages of Peri-Menopause and Menopause. I firmly believe in a holistic approach to health, prioritizing shared decision-making and working collaboratively with the exceptional women I have the privilege of serving here at Purity Health.

As a perimenopausal woman myself, I intimately understand how the decline or deficiency of female sex hormones can impact various aspects of a woman's life, including confidence, self-worth, sleep, memory, sense of well-being, and body image. It is my deep commitment to address these concerns and provide comprehensive, personalized care to support your overall well-being. I believe in empowering women with the knowledge and resources they need to navigate this transitional phase of life with confidence and vitality. Together, we will work towards optimizing your health and enhancing your quality of life during perimenopause and beyond.

I invite you to join me on this transformative journey, where together we will navigate the challenges and embrace the opportunities that lie ahead. You are in trusted hands as we work towards achieving a brighter and more vibrant life.

Love Menopause _edited.jpg

The Local Aboriginal people and traditional custodians of the Australind and Harvey areas are the Binjareb and Wardandi Noongar people who have a rich social, spiritual and historical connection to this country.

Purity Health  acknowledges the traditional custodians of the land and their continuing connection to the land, waters and community.

We pay our respects to all members of the Aboriginal communities and their cultures; and to Elders both past and present.
